- Hey friends! We’re almost one month into our stay here in Brazil! It’s actually wild how quickly time has gone. Our host and the surrounding community have been so kind and generous. They truly reflect the heart of Jesus!
Since arriving we’ve connected with several groups for evangelism and on one of the trips we used the treasure hunting method. Basically we pray and ask the lord for a specific color or vision for a person that he wants us to seek out. My group decided to pray and ask the Lord for a color for me to see. Immediately into prayer, I thought of the color red I didn’t think much of it and was very skeptical thinking I was just thinking of a random color. After Praying we started to walk around and ended up bumping into another one of our groups. They had just done the treasure hunting method and told us the most insane testimony. I was so in awe of how God moved that I decided to pray for all of us that the Lord would just speak through us. After I finished praying, one of my teammates, said that she had a vision of a man with dark hair, wearing a white shirt and big eyes immediately after she said that one of the leaders said that she got a vision of a man wearing a white shirt, and one of the other leaders said that he had a vision of a red car. And hearing that confirmed my vision of the color red. We all were so excited and so curious to see who this person was gonna be. immediately we all started to look around and saw this man who matched those descriptions coming from a red car, I was so in awe and we ended up sharing the gospel with that man, and he was so happy and felt so seen by the Lord. One of the girls asked him what he needed prayer for, and he said for patients. A girl from our squad, said that she was going through the fruit to the spirit, and on that day was meditating on the word patience and showed him all the verses describing that word. It was truly such an incredible moment to witness. God is so faithful to hear our prayers and when we ask he’s so faithful to provide.
