What does it mean to truly lay everything down at the feet of Jesus? Graduation was quickly approaching and my routine was going to change so drastically. I remember wondering what God wanted me to do and where he wanted me to work. I had so many doubts and so much anxiety with finding the next thing to focus on and work on. I remember nights I would just ask The Lord for wisdom, direction and give him all the worries and cares. The night of my graduation I had so much peace and love poured into me by my cousin. She had done a missions trip with The same organization I’m working with and she told me how the Lord grew her and used her for his kingdom. I had always wanted to do missions but never knew what organization to do it with and where I would go. I always had so many fears and doubts with the whole idea of leaving my family and going to a different country. That night of my graduation my cousin prayed with me and Jesus truly answered that prayer with giving me absolute peace, direction, and assurance. I have never had more peace about a decision in my life, which is insane because those who know me can attest to how indecisive I am lol. Since then I’ve had to lay down this dream and hope of going to South America to Jesus and completely trust that He will fulfill his will. I have to trust that He will provide the funds, prayers, and support that I need for this new chapter. I’m so excited that He has chosen me for the specific role in furthering his kingdom!!!
