Hey supporters!

Wow has God already been moving just the past month! We started our journey in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and it was an incredible opertunity to share Christs love with the people we would help volunteer with. We helped teach English and hosted a once a week group and shared our beliefs and talked about Jesus. Me and my team was able to have an opertunity to leave the city and drive to the mountains. We explored the canyons and got to sing and praise Jesus with songs which led to conversations with our driver and host/translater that took us who were both Muslim. After our trip were driving back and for almost 4 hours we were debating and proving that Jesus is King and Lord just by reading the truths from the Bible. We would take turns quoting scripture in google translate and talking to the translater or we would just silently pray while the others were speaking. I kept praying “God soften their heartened hearts, give them eyes to see and ears to hear.” At the end of our car ride the driver told us that his heart was softened to our religion. After we said goodbye we all wept with such joy that God heard our cry for their hearts and continued to beg him to show himself to them. We trust that the Lord will bring them to himself one day.

A couple weeks later me and my team were doing some ATL on where we should get drinks. While we were walking one of my friends said that we should go to this place that had a giant peacock on it. She said that it was literally highlighted in the spirit and that God wanted us to go. So we all walk in and immediately we all have this heavy and dark weight. I looked around this huge restaurant with walls covered in paintings and murals. The general look of the place was dark because of the lighting being softened. I looked at my friend Elo who said we should go in and she looked very uneasy but said that God has something here for us to do. So we followed our server Acma up the stairs to the top level of this restaurant. She introduced herself and she said she was from Egypt which marked our interest because our squad had been having several Egyptian dreams and we had all been wondering what God was telling us. We ordered drinks and after she left we all started praying about what our assignment was there. As I was praying I felt the Lord telling me that I needed to share the gospel and tell her about him. I immediately was like “God I can’t do that, that would be kinda awkward just to bring it up randomly.” Looking back I can’t believe I doubted God for a second that he would provide an opportunity. We all shared and agreed that we were there just for Acma. She came back and we started talking about her life and found out that she is Muslim and was fasting for Ramadan. I started silently praying and asked the Lord to show her that he is the way and truth and life and I felt him say “You tell her who I am.” My heart started beating faster and I got nervous because I knew what I needed to do but didn’t now how to bring up the subject. Eventually one of our friends brought up how we were traveling and that we loved Jesus and then another girl asked her if we could pray for her. She said yes so we started praying. After, my friend Elo asked if she had neck pain. Acma said that her neck was hurting her and so we all got up from the table and decided to pray for healing. Elo could feel her pain in her own body since we walked into the restaurant and wasn’t sure who’s it was until that moment. Acma pointed to the area that was hurting and it was exactly where Elo was feeling it. We all laid hands and asked the Lord for healing. Afterwards Elo felt the pain leave her own body so she asked Acma if her pain was gone and she she looked at us and said yes. She put her hand in the area and her eyes wide she asked “who is this Jesus and how did he do that, How is my pain gone, how did that happen?” We all smiled and I said “Because he’s alive and he loves you.” I then shared parts of my testimony and how Jesus Christ saved my life and the I shared the gospel and tears started streaming down her face. Her heart was being softened to hear and feel the fathers love. I prayed right there that he would show himself to her. He truly gave me the opportunity that I needed and the words to speak. We left her with the encouragement to read the book of John and read for herself who Jesus is. She was so receptive and felt so loved and it was truly the Holy Spirit that was speaking through me because I had so much boldness and confidence that I hadn’t had 5 minute prior. That you God for being faithful and patient in my unbelief.

God is so faithful to answer when you ask him and HE STILL SPEAKS. So many other beautiful stories from that country and I’m so grateful for them. Thank you Jesus.

Please pray for Kyrgyzstan 🤍

All my love,

Adelaide
